  • Can someone give me the social account of Abby's voice actor. I wanna hate her as a person for voice acting such a crappy character.

  • The intro was what my first thoughts when I heard about the sequel, although it was a passing thought, and I was still looking foward to it, until the leaks, then it just really solidified my thought. They shouldnt have ruined it. It left off on a "happy" note, but man this game just had to completely fuck it up, if it had been left alone or would have been a masterpiece. Now it has to have this game hanging over it, like a dingleberry from someones ass hair. And the fact that Sony and Naughty Dog keep suppressing ppls negative opinions makes it worse, damn it's more like a whole turd hanging not just a dingleberry, now that I think about it lol.

  • Feel like the points Charlie made were spot on. The game itself was fun and I absolutely loved the addition of the guitar in the game but the crazy amount of flashbacks for Abby really ruined the storytelling. If they started more linear playing as Abby when she was younger and then had time jumps forward with both characters developing relationships with their fallen friends it would have totally changed my outlook on the plot. The only flashbacks that really hit hard were the ones with Joel. Especially his last words to her. That was the only well placed flashback cause it made the final sad scene that much sadder.

  • Jessie did get mentioned again. By Dina. To Ellie. There was even a note on the farmhouse table from Jessie's parents. I understand everyone's in a hurry to drop 2/10 reviews but straight up lying is kinda lame no? C'mon man.

  • Abby never watched Carlitos Way. Carlito is weak and spares Benny Blanco from The Bronx half way through the film and at the end he shows up and kills Carlito right as hes about to escape. Making that mistake twice makes no sense, especially in a world where life isnt worth shit and people just kill like its nothing, if its a personal grudge between you and them id imagine it would be even easier to take the life.

  • The gameplay is incredible and the story was Intense and deeply compelling. There have been only a handful of games that made me feel the way this game made me feel — genuine anxiety, heartbreak and conflict. It was brutal and real.

I'll have to heavily disagree. 10/10 game

  • I loved this game. It fucked me around on the story and I enjoyed the ride. It literally made me tear a few times. Caught me screaming all the time. It was a good part in my opinion. Story was good because I didn't know who tf was gonna die next.

  • I find it interesting when you talk about the minor character deaths. That was a point of praise that I heard some reviewers say, that death comes hard and fast, it doesn't matter who you are. I heard that and went, "Fair point". Hearing you say that there was no aftermath though, that is bad. That's not how people are, even if you have to adrenaline rush out of a firefight, you come down at some point, and all the shit that happened hits you. That needs to happen, if the characters don't ccx are about their friends, I don't care about their friends. Simple.

  • When you go into a game expecting to hate it, you'll find every reason to do so. This games story was really good and I think y'all will realize this when the hate train subsides

  • 5:07 this is flat out wrong. He is mentioned multiple times, like when Dina expresses her grief towards his death. They even mention his parents

    Condogster F July 3, 2020 3:05 am Reply
  • The story isn't about revenge as much as it is about grief.

  • I agree with that point Charlie made about "dolphin diving belly first all while pregnant" SPOILER ALERT When Abby slams Dina stomach first onto the floor then smashes her face in repeatedly, I was convinced she was going to go into labor or something but she was just sorta, fine. I was like seriously?

  • The thing I hated about playing as Abby was where they decided to interject it into the game. I know the whole point was to kind of make us think "How did we get here" but the whole time playing as Abby I was just sorta like "Yeah, yeah, that's great, he's dead such a shame, CAN I FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS WITH ELLIE NOW"
If you're going to give me a cliffhanger, don't make me drag myself through 10 or so hours of gameplay to find out what happens in the cliffhanger.

  • If they wanted to make a revenge Story, they should make Joels death the end of the game. Like you Play as/with him and Ellie searching for someone else who can make a cure because Ellie is so fucked up about what Joel did at the Hospital so thats the only way to forgive him. Than you get to learn more about Abby while you go after Joel with her, with flashbacks and all that good stuff. That would be much better for me.

  • I don't agree with most of your thoughts, I understand them and see where they come from. I enjoyed the story very much. But your so wrong with the gameplay arguments, they tweaked it a lot, the gameplay has some new stuff to it too, and overall, yes its the same as the old one, but much much better.

  • I don't see how you didn't care for the story. I mean their are plenty of fucking flaws in the game and with the order of how the story went but still. Some of your arguments felt like you did'nt even play the game, like saying Dina has no character. As much as I would like to continue my YouTube is braking and I need sleep. Put your constructive or destructive comments if you want, goodnight.

  • Heah nice couldnt disagree with pretty much everything about the story but okay, I accept your opinion. A lot of your comments were actually really false, you may have missed a lot when you played it. Or maybe you never wanted a sequel so this is how you prove to yourself that one never should have been made. I really think this story told a strong story than the first.

  • I don’t know why but I found myself rushing to finish everything after ellies
half. And hoping for the end. I did find it hard to kill abby at the end due to her being in such a pathetic state which was interesting because I was all for killing a hospital full of people in the first one. Charley is completely right that the flashbacks with Joel and Ellie should have been first to reaffirm the bond that was lost.

  • Instead of flashbacks just tell the story chronologically. Would have been better too if Joel dying was the climax of the game, not the beginning. Ellie running away after Joel admitting what he did to the Fireflies and making the game more of a cat and mouse sorta thing could have been cool. Lead the characters into the cultists and slavers at the same time as we play a side narrative with Abby until they meet and then conclude with Joel dying. Make Ellie vs Abby The Last of Us 3 or something. The 1st Last of US created such a strong foundation for compelling stories. We might as well just forget this game exist.
