Apple to Unveil 3 New macs Including Updated MacBook Pro at WWDC’17

Apple is planning to unveil 3 new macs at its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) next month, according to Bloomberg. Apple is doing this to take the Microsoft down. Their rivalry is always amazing. At the end of the day, Apple stays ahead of them.

Apple is planning three new Macs, according to people familiar with the matter. The MacBook Pro will get a faster Kaby Lake processor from Intel Corp., said the people, who requested anonymity to discuss internal planning. Apple is also working on a new version of the 12-inch MacBook with a faster Intel chip. The company has also considered updating current 13-inch MacBook Air with a new processor as sales of the macs, Apple’s cheapest, remain surprisingly strong, one of the people said. Not sure it will get a TouchBar or not.

The new MacBook is thought to differ mostly in internal architecture. It’s been rumored that Apple is working on an in-house chip to manage low-power mode; however, it’s unclear if that will debut in the upcoming model. Battery performance is very important to Apple. It should be important for every company unless they want to blow up like Samsung Note 7.

Apple’s MacBook hasn’t received a speed run since 2015 and the 12-inch MacBook was last updated in April 2016. The company is expected to also unveil a new version of macOS at WWDC along with a new 10.5 inch iPad also.

It’s still a rumor, so take this a pitch of salt of the actual unveiling. Let’s wait till June 5th for the Apple WWDC event.
