From a reliable source (Sonny Dickson) confirmed that Apple will be releasing iOS 10.3 to developers early next month (January 10th). The upcoming version of the OS will come with a new feature called Theatre mode along with a new “popcorn-shaped” Control Center icon.
It’s unclear for now as to what theatre mode does, but it could possibly be similar to the dark mode that Apple introduced with the tvOS10 update this year. While Apple will probably seed the first beta of iOS 10.3 to developers on January 10th, the final release is likely going to be made available to the public in March when the company is rumored to launch new iPads.
Apple had released the final build of iOS 10.2 to the public after numerous beta builds earlier this month. The update introduced over 70 new emoji, SOS feature, slight updates to the Apple Music app, a new TV app, and Single sign-on. If you want to install any iOS 10.x beta or upcoming iOS 10.3 beta also then register your device to apple developer account and install the beta versions without any issues.
