Apple is decorating Moscone West with logos for WWDC 2016

Written by
Apple has started decorating its venues for WWDC 2016, which kicks off on Monday, with workers starting to apply a massive Apple logo onto the side of Moscone West. Apple will use Moscone West for all of the week apart from Monday; the WWDC keynote will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

Apple will release the iOS 10 beta after the WWDC, so if you want to install iOS 10 beta then register your iPhone to Apple Developer Program now and get ready to get iOS 10 beta.

Apple usually puts up banners teasing the announcements in the theme of the invites to build excitement for the show, often revealing tidbits about the new software OS’s. Apple has put a small logo up at Bill Graham but due to the split venue (and late scheduling), there’s a chance the banners tradition will not continue this year until after the Monday keynote at 10 AM …

The Moscone West venue is the typical location for banners, likely to follow soon after the Apple logo display is complete. Visitors to the site say that workers are preparing things on the ground but nothing has been hung yet and work on the exterior Apple logo has only just started.

In keeping with previous years, expect banners to go up eventually which tease Apple’s new flagship operating systems, including iOS 10 and OS X 10.12. We’ll keep the post updated with anything new as it happens, of course. There’s a chance these will remain under black curtains until after the opening keynote.

WWDC begins on Monday at 10 AM; Apple is expected to talk about various new features spanning four new operating systems; iOS 10 for iPhone and iPad, OS X 10.12 (macOS) for Macs, tvOS for Apple TV and watchOS for Apple Watch.
