The release comes just a week after iOS 9.1 release, which included improvements to Live Photos, over 150 new emoji characters such as taco, burrito, cheese, wedge, middle finger, unicorn head and more. Compared to that iOS 9.2 is much better than the iOS 9.1.

Based on the release notes, iOS 9.2 includes several bug fixes and enhancements related to Safari View Controller. Third-party Action Extensions will now work with the Safari View Controller, which is the new window that opens up when you click on a link in some apps.

SFSafariViewController now supports 3rd party Action Extensions. Any Action Extension that
works in Safari will also work in SFSafariViewController.
• Long tapping the Reload button in Safari View Controller now gives options to Reload Without
Content Blockers and Request Desktop Site, like in Safari.
• iOS 9.2 Beta 1 resolves an issue where WebApps saved to the home screen would not respect the
