‘Steve Jobs’ will premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on September 5

Written by
For anyone who saw the JOBS film several years ago, the one that starred Ashton Kutcher in the titular role, there’s already plenty of reasons to be looking forward to that “other” Steve Jobs film.

This one, entitled Steve Jobs, has quite a few names worth paying attention to either in front or behind the camera. That includes the writer, Aaron Sorkin, adapted from the Walter Isaacson autobiography. The director, Danny Boyle, who directed Slumdog Millionaire, Sunshine, and 28 Days Later. And then there’s Michael Fassbender playing Steve Jobs, Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, and Jeff Daniels playing John Sculley.

On September 9th, Apple will release the iOS 9 and WatchOS finally the GM version, if you are so super excited about the new iOS and WatchOS versions then you can install them now by registering your iPhone/AppleWatch udid to Apple Developer Program from here, and update to the latest iOS 9 and WatchOS 2 beta versions and enjoy them.

The first official trailer for the film dropped at the beginning of July, and it showed the tense relationships that Jobs had with just about everyone that was involved with him, whether professionally or personally. And, more recently, the first official look at the poster for the upcoming film showed a lonely Jobs looking down, either in contemplation or something else entirely.

Steve Jobs will debut theatrically on October 9 from Universal Pictures.

There’s a lot of attention on this film already. It’s been chosen as the Centerpiece for the New York Film Festival, and the Closing Night picture for the BFI London Film Festival, too.

Now, there’s another film festival getting its fair share of Steve Jobs, as it has been confirmed that the film will premiere at this year’s Telluride Film Festival, located in Telluride, Colorado. So, for those individuals lucky enough to be attending the festival, you’ll be able to get your first look at the film before it opens later this year.
