Now that there’s been a bit of time with the software, a few key details have been discovered. First of which is Apple Music now has Home Sharing support, something that was missing since the launch of iOS 8.4. Apple’s Eddy Cue had said on Twitter that Apple planned on adding support for Apple Music in iOS 9, and, sure enough, it has done just that.

Home Sharing for iOS 9:
For those that picked up, or plan to pick up, Apple’s sixth-generation iPod touch, iOS 9 beta 4 is fully supported by the mobile device, so testing is possible on that device as well. Another noteworthy change is the Notifications icon within the Settings option, which is now a bold red color. A fix within iOS 9 beta 4 is for the volume button to be used as the camera shutter, which was broken in iOS 9 beta 3. That’s working now in the fourth beta.

And, there’s Picture in Picture support for the Podcasts app, too. This allows users to watch a video while performing other tasks on the iPad.

Other new features:

Handoff: For those that use Handoff frequently, the option has been moved within the App Switcher interface. Previously, it was displayed within the app carousel. Now, though, users will have to pull up on the icon that’s been placed at the bottom of the display while switching between running apps, as seen in the image above.
Volume Button Photos – In iOS 9 beta 3, there was a bug that prevented the volume button from working as a shutter button for the iOS camera. That’s been fixed in beta 4 and it’s once again possible to snap a photo using the volume buttons on your iOS device.
iPod touch Support – People who purchased one of the new A8-based iPod touch devices last week can now upgrade those devices to iOS 9 beta 4. With this beta, Apple added a new installation profile for the device.
Watch OS2 beta 4: The new watch OS2 beta is here also. If you have an Apple watch then you can update it to WatchOS2 now also. Click here to Register your iPhone/iPad/iPod/Apple Watch udid to Apple Developer Account to install the latest version of iOS & WatchOS on your device.
