How to check if your jailbroken iOS device is infected with WireLurker malware, fix of this WireLuker malware

Written by
A research paper brought to light a new malware called ‘WireLurker’ that is infecting iOS devices and Macs in China.  I always thought that OS X / IOS are virus free. No virus or malware can’t effect the devices but now it’s not the case anymore. My device is working crazy, he got so slow, most of the time my important apps gets crashed. My iPad mini effected with the virus. I hope Apple will fix a solution for this problem very soon. The malware can infect both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices when connected to an infected Mac through USB.

If you’re jailbroken, you can easily check if you’ve been infected with WireLurker by following these steps:

Open iFile or SSH into your iOS device.
Navigate to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries
If you see a file called sfbase.dylib then you likely are infected. If not, then you’re safe.

What to do if your OS X/IOS device gets effected with this WireLurker ?
Yet Apple didn’t post any update about what to do if your devices are effected with this malware. Jailbreak team hasn’t said anything on fixing this issue yet. I will receomend you to RESTORE your device to the latest ios firmware. And stay away from jailbreak or any other things which is not authorized by Apple. As Apple gives a solution, follow that. Keep your devices safe.
