How to update to ios 8.1 / 8.2 / 8.x.x beta Now:
Step 1: Register your UDID to Apple Developer Account. (Click here). If you have already registered once with us for ios 8 then you don’t need to re-register again. but if you haven’t registered/registration expired then register first else your device will be stuck at activation err.
Step 2: Download the ios 8.1 beta ipsw file. You can download it from anywhere doesn’t matter from where you download it. You can find it also to download from our iAppleStuffs download section.
Step 3: Backup your device in iTunes. Because you can’t update via OTA to a beta version. You need to perform a full update using iTunes. Plus even if you can do OTA, i will suggest you not to do OTA updates. Its always better if you do a clean install using iTunes. And after that restore from the backup if you need to. Better if you start everything from new. Plus iCloud backup is the best.
Step 4: After you have done step 1 2 3 now you are ready to update. So open up iTunes.
Step 5: Hold Shift/Option key in your keyboard and click on Restore / Update in iTunes. A window will open then select the ios 8.x.x beta ipsw which you downloaded.
Step 6: Now let iTunes do the rest. it will update you to ios 8.1
Step 7: Now you can setup iPhone as new or you can now restore from iTunes backup which you created on step 3.
