Last month, we purportedly got to see the leaked rear shell of the iPhone 6 as it was making its way through production. While it had not been polished or even fully processed at the time, it gave us key details that are being echoed in this newest leak that supposedly showcases the rear shell of the iPhone 6. Apple is making iPhone 6 like this. Personally i really didnt like the shape. I don’t want the iPhone 6 lock button to be on the left side like Samsung android phones >_<
These new images are once again put on display from Feld & Volk, and it is believed to be the final casing for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6. With it, we get to see some new details that have not been previously leaked. For instance, while we’ve seen previous images of the volume controls, this time around this “final design” suggests the buttons will be slightly recessed. This actually bears familiarity to a leak we saw with the rumored iPad Air 2, which also supposedly has slightly recessed volume controls.
The new images also show us an up-close-and-personal look at the Apple logo supposedly being used on the back of the iPhone 6. This time around, Apple’s apparently harkening back to the original iPhone, with the logo apparently being embedded into the device. This hasn’t happened since the original iPhone in 2007. Feld & Volk suggest the new logo is “very extraordinary” scratch-resistant, though, and believe that it is a Liquidmetal alloy. However, there’s no real evidence to back this claim up, yet.
Another image puts the camera at the fore, and shows us a ring around the rear camera hole, which measures in at 6.66m in diameter. It’s a strange thing to see, considering previous leaks and rumors have said that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 would have a flush camera design, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 could boast a slightly protruding camera set up, just like we see on the current generation iPod touch.
In the last photo, we get to see a flex cable that the source suggests is for the iPhone 6, and is for the new Home button. However, as MacRumors points out, the length is more likely tuned towards the flex cable for an iPad, and not the upcoming iPhone.
