We’ve already heard that Apple will introduce its iWatch at its September 9th media event, but won’t ship it until early next year.

Re/code reports that the top-end iWatch model could be priced at $400, based on internal discussions between Apple executives. From the report:

Apple executives have discussed charging around $400 for the company’s new wearable device.
Pricing has yet to be finalized for the forthcoming product, which is expected to begin shipping next year. Sources say consumers should expect a range of prices for different models including lower priced versions.

Apple has traditionally not announced products without shipping dates or prices, but Re/code says it’s still not clear if Apple will disclose iWatch pricing information at the September 9th event.

There’s already plenty of competition in the wearable market with devices from Samsung, LG being priced in the $200 to $400 range. Apple has already started laying out groundwork for the iWatch in the form of HealthKit and Health app, that will keep track of all your health related data sourced from various apps and accessories.

Apple products prices are always very higher than any other brand products well it’s worth buying Apple products cz of its quality, its desgin and its features which is always unique and amazing. So i think even if Apple prices its iWatch at $400 also, people will buy it. Infact i will also i buy it. People care about the price when it comes to the Apple Products. They totally justify the price to the consumer by its quality and brand value.
